MISSION
Tallahassee Margarita Society provides “A happy holiday for all” through working with different charities in and around Tallahassee to help fill gaps in their holiday season gift giving missions. By hosting a black tie event known as the Margarita Ball, our society collects holiday gifts and other necessities for children in the Big Bend.
WHO WE ARE
There are multiple Margarita Societies through the U.S., and most are independently operated. The Tallahassee Margarita Society is the first and only Margarita Society composed solely of business and professional women. The Directors of the Tallahassee Margarita Society reflect a cross section of Tallahassee’s business and professional women. Their bond is the simple desire to create a great party for their friends, and foster “A Happy Holiday for All”. The Tallahassee Margarita Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
WHAT WE DO
The process is simple. Each year the Directors organize and sponsor one grand social event . . . The Margarita Ball. Admission for each couple is by Director’s invitation only, and a contribution of holiday toys. The Society then distributes toys collected to charities that service underprivileged children in the Tallahassee community.
ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
- The minimum gift amount requested is $100 per person / $200 per couple
- All guests must receive a Margarita Ball Invitation and must be 21 or older with a valid photo ID
